This activity concentrates on clarifying the vision of the website, balancing the needs of the sponsor of the website with the needs of the intended audience. When complete, it will provide the basis and objectives of all of the stages that follow.

Defining the web content strategy typically takes between 4 to 6 working days, and involves a number of workshops with key personnel in the organization. The deliverable is a content strategy for the organization. The breadth of the areas to cover and the depth of analysis needed for each area will impact the time required.
Our general approach with the 4-6 days work is a broad look at a number of areas, identifying one or two as priority areas and going into depth in these only. The other areas can be addressed in due course.The emphasis is on the information strategy, not on the wider ebusiness strategy.
