Microsoft, the worldwide leader in software for personal and business computing, engaged Arconics to assist in the design of a content-centric extranet capability.

Arconics is providing the core information architecture services to define the content and presentation structures of key sections of the extranet. The project objective is to maximise effectiveness in delivery of critical information to its many different audiences. Arconics has significant expertise in creating complex information architectures for large dynamic information bases delivering highly intuitive end-user presentation.

EPC is one of Ireland's fastest growing IT consulting companies. The company provides SAP implementations for the pharmaceuticals industry. EPC is based in many locations and a comprehensive intranet was required to increase staff communication and knowledge sharing. 

EPC chose the Arconics product suite as their platform to run their intranet and knowledge management system. They also used Arconics Professional Services Team to implement and design their intranet site. The system stores all HR policies and procedures, an extensive knowledge base, new hires details, company news, and is the central repository for sharing all client deliverable documentation. 100 staff members use and contribute to the system.

Avaya selected Arconics software to underpin a website to serve external consultants that specify networking and telecommunications products all over the world.

Avaya's vision was that the website would become a central information resource "to bring Avaya closer to its consultants through the development of an 'information backbone' that develops and further binds the Avaya partnership network as well as reducing the time-to-market."

Arconics provided a web publishing solution for their European distributor extranet. The site delivered detailed product and sales information to the distributor channel. The content is currently contributed by each product manager using the Publish Port application. The solution increased the speed of content publishing, allowing the distributors to find the information they required instantly. The presentation of the information was personalised for each distributor.
