Writers or contributors can, without any knowledge of HTML, input content for publication on the site via an easy-to-use graphical interface. When submitting the document, the contributor assigns attributes to it (title, summary, publication date, time etc.) that govern how the content will be presented.
The contributor also classifies the content so that it is associated with a part of the classification system that a reader may browse or search. All this extra information gives order to the published content and makes it easily searchable. The reader can then find the information they need quickly and easily.

Contributor workspace
Using a personal, configurable workspace, contributors can track the status of their content.
Many contributors can submit content at the same time, each piece of content being routed either manually, or to one or more approvers according to predefined, automatically set, system rules. These are configurable and can be dependent on many factors, for example contributor, content type, or classification type.
