Arconics Aviation is delighted to announce the launch the latest component of the Arconics suite, Manual Manager, at the Paris Air Show (13-19.June). Arconics product suite enables airline flight operations, maintenance & engineering, and technical publishing staff embrace productivity enhancing digital processes, including Electronic Flight Bags, while ensuring complete regulatory compliance.
Manual Manager significantly simplifies the management of SGML documents from Airbus and Boeing. It provides a user-friendly visual word-processor style interface that automates the comparison of the airline operator's master document with aircraft manufacturer's revision documents using a unique dual-pane windows interface. Furthermore, the import of unstructured content into structured documents is greatly simplified. Master documents can be exported in PDF, HTML or XML format. The elimination of the traditional cumbersome "stare and compare" manual revision process means that pilots and publishers can turn around revisions in a fraction of the time with complete confidence.
In addition to Manual Manager, Arconics product suite includes two other components, Flight Ops Edition and Maintenance and Engineering Edition. Flight Ops Edition automates and streamlines airline processes for producing, capturing, managing and publishing information to pilots, cabin crew and ground staff. It enables relevant information such as NOTAMs, bulletins, FCIs, manuals, training and safety information to be shared across the company, quickly and efficiently. M&E Edition enables rapid access to the most up-to-date document versions by engineering staff, whether located at head-office, out-station or outsource MRO. It provides a single web based repository that allows engineering staff personalized access to a diverse range of vendor documentation and information systems.
